Default SPA9000 System Time problem with AutoAttendant

Hi,

I have configured both DayTime and NightTime AutoAttendant

DayTime:- start=08:0:0;end=17:0:0

I have difficulty synchronizing my SPA9000 current time with the actual time. Thus my auto-attendant is picking up wrong scirpt for the wrong time

I have Configured under VOICE, REGIONAL,Miscellaneous,
Set Local Date(mm/dd), Set Local Time (HH/mm), and also the correct GMT

After clicking Submit All Changes, the system restarts..and under INFO, SYSTEM STATUS, Current Time is still shows 9/8/2002 20:14

Is there a bug or something? Plz advice. I cant get my AA to work properly because of this. thank you

You don't happen to have an NTP server configured? Afaik, if an NTP server is configured, the time is taken from the NTP server and whatever you enter manually doesn't really matter.

So how about using NTP? With the proper DST rules and timezone set, that should always result in the proper date (iirc there was an issue with Feb 29th but since we're in March now it should be okay). I have all my network devices including phones configured to use NTP (PCs as well.. they do it automatically) and I haven't had much of an issue with the time (I had one phone that would be one hour off but that problem went away with a firmware upgrade).
