| Hi, i have SPA9000, SPA400 and many SPA9x2 phone. My SPA922 phone are for guest phone and i would like when they lift off handset i can reach a outbound line (like dial 9 ) but without dialing prefix 9. Presently i only have a SPA400 to manage outbound and inbound calls, is it possible to specify using line 2 for outbound calls?? Thanks to everybody who can help me |

| There's a lengthy thread on this forum where I'm basically throwing ideas back and forth with the person that first asked the question on how to write a dialplan that doesn't require to dial the 9 to get an outside line. It contains all the details you need to know on that subject. And as far as the SPA400 goes.. you cannot select which of the 4 FXO ports to dial out with (this has come up I don't know how many times.. ) if you need that, get another gateway.

| Hi, and thanks Humba3, i'm sure you are bored to always tell same things but i search almost 4 hours in the forum to try to find the right thread about the 9 prefix outbound calls and the only thing i find it's with a SPA3000 <:@gwX> but nothing about SPA9000 Thanks |

| Answer to both questions. In order not to require the steering digit (9), you would need to modify the following (I assume you have default configuration): - In the Phone dial plan (at the end of the [SIP] tab of the SPA9000) you need to delete the "9," out of any string that have it. - In the Line Dial plan (on each [Line] tab of the SPa9000) you need to delete the <:9> of every entry. With regards of the SPA400 FXO trunking, this is currently not supported, but I heard next release of SPA400 (to be available soon - was told one one/two weeks) will add this capability. Check in a week or two on linksys.com downloads for the update. |
