| Have managed to set up SPA900 to receive calls and make VoIP calls (using line 1 prefix 8) out but can't get calls to complete through to the POTS line (using line 2 prefix 9). Can get numbers such as 1471 and 152 etc to work ok, but on a proper phone number the BT service just says the number has not been recognised. This is in the UK. Anyone any ideas? Cheers Brian |

| Hi Thanks - good idea! Settings below SIP - PBX parameters Call routing (<:L1>8xx.|<:L2>9xx.) PBX Phone parameters Phone dial plan ([89],xxS3|[89],xxxS3|[89],[1-9]xxxxxxxxS0|[89],xx.|[1-8]xx) Line 1 SIP (Tesco's and yes it works a treat!) Dial plan (<8:>xx.) Line 2 PSTN via SPA400 Dial plan (<9:>xx.) <as short numbers are working your system is sending the number before you have finished typing it, perhaps?> Have used pre-dial (enter number and then press dial) - same problem, possibly the dialing is too fast from the SPA400 for the PSTN network? | Thanks for the help - solution found (copied from my post on another thread) - hope it helps someone else Not actually the dial plan or SPA9000 - problem with the SPA400 not outputting enough oomph! Looks like just enough to get 4 digits out but not anymore before line capacitance takes its toll (or something similar). Have tweaked the SAP400 voice settings by increasing the 'Transmit gain' to 1db from default of 0db - now works just fine. Love it when a mystery comes together! |
