Default SPA9000 Hardware Version

i recently bought a spa9000 in germany. there is no indication on the label if it is version 1 or 2.
as it is a square shaped unit with the led`s on one side and the connectors on the other, according to some posts in this forum it should be version 2.
however, the the web management interface shows a hardware version 1.05(a).
so how can i find out the real version, i need it to use the appropriate firmware for upgrading.

thanks for your answers in advance,
herbert

Try both. The firmware upgrade software will not let you install the wrong version.

I always thought so, too. However, recently, there was a discussion about this on the Linksys forums and it appears, this only holds true if you have a V1 hardware.

By all appearances, you have a V2 as the V1 hasn't been sold for some time.
