Default Spa9000, Analogue IVR Tone Issue

hello, I have a Spa9000 with 2 Spa941 Phones & 1 Analogue phone hooked into FXS1. Everything works ok but i have discovered that when i dial any outside line e.g taxation office and i get their IVR, when it asks me to press a menu option the IVR does not recognise my dial tones, it works fine on the SPA941 but not on the analogue phone. I have tried a different analogue phone and i get the same thing.
Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix. I have tried to google but have not been able to find anything.
Any help appreciated....
P.S my VoIP provider is ENGIN

thanks in advance

On the FXS1/2 tab, check the setting of "DTMF detection mode" - if it is strict, set it to normal and see if that helps.
