Default SPA400 voicemail for SIP phones other than Linksys

I've done the search and I found that in the past it wasn't possible to listen to your voicemail messages from a non Linksys SIP phone. Has this changed in the current firmware or is it still impossible?

I've successfully registered a Siemens S685IP with the SPA9000 (also not possible in the past) and the results look promising but I can't find out how to access the voicemail box.

Voicemail hasn't changed and it won't either as Linksys relies on a proprietary header in the INVITE indicating the mailbox id.. if an INVITE doesn't have that header element, the invite will not even be forwarded to the SPA400. If you want voicemail for third party devices you're just going to have to use another PBX.

OK, thanks. I'll stop trying then.
Shame on Linksys.
