| Hello, Finally got my SPA9000, SPA400 and 7 SPA942 phones working. Everything works as it should and I can make/receive calls over PSTN from the SPA400. I have tried and tried however and cannot get voicemail to work at all. Dialing the voicemail button calls vmm on the handsets but I just get "beep beep" and a Call ended message? My dial plan is (xx.) on everything, is it something to do with this? Thanks! |

| Assuming you have your use vm accounts setup on the SPA400, check the following: Under your line tab for the SPA400 do you have: Mailbox Deposit URL: 900@192.168.1.90:5090 Mailbox Manage URL: 800@192.168.1.90:5090 Mailbox Subscribe URL: 8888@192.168.1.90:5090 Note, the IP address is address of the 400. Phone user tab: Cfwd No Ans Dest: vm Cfwd Busy Dest: vm Phone line ext tab: Call Feature Settings Mailbox ID:2301 (2 represents line tab of spa9k and 301 is phone ext.) Phone phone tab: Voice Mail Number: vmm I have found it best to reboot all devices after changes are made...SPA9k first, SPA400, and then phones. This is what works for me. | I have the exact same problem. I have my setting all as you show (which are outlined in the manual) but all I receive is a busy signal. If I press the envelope (vmail button) the system answers "Linksys voice mail" and proceeds to ask for an extension and password but I cannot get it to go to voicemail from the AA. Also, by pressing the vmail button on a 942 should it not take me directly to my voice mailbox rather than asking me for an extension? Thanks, Allen |
