Default SPA400 root password for Telnet Access

Well, there is a Telnet interface available to the world on the SPA400. BusyBox...but I don't have a clue about the password. Username is probably root, but not positive.

I need to be able to get into the box to turn some functions like Telnet on/off, etc. Any ideas?

incase anyone ever needs it sipura support still takes support calls for the spa product line @ 1-866-870-5826 ext2

the word from them is telnet is only for "future software expansion" and not used at this time.

the SPA400 is a asterisk box. incase anyone was wondering.

Acctually you can do a few things under telnet. Now while when you orginally log into the telnet you only get a few options but at this time most are unusable.

Now one command you can use is "shell" which actually boots into the Unix interface and unix commands work from inside here, You can see its just asterisk running in the background. If you really wanted to get created you could modify every file under the unix interface (not sure why) but you could change the way the http webpage looks.

Not sure if we are allowed to post the information not sure why not so I'm gonna do it since its same for everyone and doesnt hurt anything.

Telnet Access:
Username: root
Password: Admin (case sensitive)
