| Hello - I'm working on trying to have my calls clearer on my SPA400/SPA9000 with SPA942 phones. For the most part, it works well. Every now and then, especially when I'm on hold with music playing, it sounds like the call was dropped. I need to make noise into the handset to have noice come through... Occasionally too my calls will chop off the last bit of my sentence. I've messed around with a couple settings on the gain's for the SPA400 and the SPA942. I'm pretty happy with the setup. I've noticed when I change the settings for impedance that sometimes it sound better, but the person I'm calling has more trouble hearing me. Can anyone explain what this setting is specifically for? I know it is in regards to the phone line current (maybe?), but is there a best choice for standard US lines, and also for US lines being provided through a cable service (ie: Time Warner)? Thank you in advance, Pat |
