| I haven’t posted here for some while and in my enthusiasm for a set up that is starting to work as it should; I have posted 3 posts in two days! My question Although my dial plan allows it, I cannot dial out and connect using #21# with my setup (SPA400 / SPA9000 / SPA942s) I have a BT feature line and can activate a feature by dialling *21* no problem, but cannot cancel it using #21# When I dial #21# with my spa942, I just get a long tone (although the spa942 screen says connected and counts the time). I have also tried having the # automatically appended in the dial plan, but the same result. I think it may be a current restriction of the SPA400, but would be very interested to know if any other BT featureline users have been able to dial #21# as I know one or two of the posters have mentioned they use feature lines. I have the latest firmware installed on all devices. Regards Simon |

| Have you tried to trace what's going on (syslog, debug logs)? I have my doubts that the number actually goes to PSTN as dialed.

| Thanks humba3. You are probably right. Knowing a few posters here do use feature lines, I thought I may have heard a chorus of resounding no or yes re the #21# dial out issue as it’s a fairly essential part of the feature line transfer services. I must admit I have difficulty in deciphering the logs, but will have a go at creating some and will post back my findings. Regards Simon |
