| Has anyone been successful at changing/downloading new caller on hold music and ring tones into the SPA9000 and the SPA941/941 phones? I would greatly appreciate any experiences people have had? Ralph |

| Take a look at this proggie it lets you upload wav files to the SPA941/942 phone as ringtone http://www.sipura.com/Documents/ringtone.zip About the Music on Hold i'm stil working on that Greetings Andy Update I've got the settings to use internal (Music on Hold) "imusic" actualy they are prompted in the manuall 1. Open the music conversion program you use. 2. Convert the music file to this format: • Raw Type - ?-Law • Frequency - 8 kHz • Bits per Sample - 8 Kps • Channels - Mono The music file should be encoded in G711u format at 8000 samples/second. It should not contain any extra header information, and its maximum length is 65.536 seconds (524,288 bytes). 1. You need a Music Conversion program.. I used WaveLab because it has the standard option to save to the above prompted settings. 2. Set up a Tftp server I used Solarwinds.net Tftp server. Why you ask?? it's free..!!LOL http://support.solarwinds.net/update....cfm?ProdId=52 I hope this will help you out..!! Greetings Andy |
