| Hi, I want to register my extension to my SPA9000 located in the office while I am traveling. My SPA9000 is set to use "WAN" proxy mode. The NAT/Firwall router that I carried is the Linksys WRT54G. When I tried to set my Polycom 501 IP phone on the Linksys's DMZ, the phone could register to my SPA9000 back at my office. However, when I dialed any external number or internal extension (namely Phone1 and Phone 2 on the SPA9000) it could not connect. Can someone tell me what caused this to happen? In a different network setup, I tried to do a port forwarding on my travel router (WRT54G) to my Polycom 501 IP using port 6060, this time it would not register to the SPA9000. Are there other signaling ports that I need to portforward to? What about RTP ports range? thank you, Leo |
