Hi, It's been almost 4 months that I'm experiencing problems with the LVS9000 (SPA9000, SPA400, 4 SPA942, using only PSTN lines). The main problem is that sometime connection is lost when making an external call. After the connection is lost, it's impossible to make external call... until SPA942 phones are rebooted. For what I've been able to see (and understand), the SPA400 is rebooting by itself and after that, connection cannot be established between the phone and the outside. After rebooting the SPA942, everything is working fine again... for maybe a week. I started with: spa9000 03-02-08 spa400 01-00-00-03 spa942 04-01-12 and now I'm with: SPA9000 03-03-06 spa400 01-00-00-05 spa942 04-01-18 The problem was always there, no matter what firmware version. Anyone experienced something similar? What do you think could be the problem? Any answer is going to be appreciated! Thanks, Louis

Louis, I just had new code uploaded on Linksys.com which should handle some of the stability issues. SPA400 10.0.06 SPA9000 5.1.5a SPA942 5.1.4 If it's possible please give the new code a try and reply if you encounter issues. Thanks

Louis, I have a similar setup (spa9000, 2 SPA400's and 8 SPA942's) and see the same issues. Generally the SPA9000 drops the SPA400 registration and will only resync once the SPA400 is rebooted. Fortunately I haven't needed to reboot the phones to regain functionality. I will try to update the firmware on all the devices tomorrow, but I don't have high hopes on the relilability of the Linksys 9000 product line. My customer is getting really annoyed that calls are dropping mid-sentence. Good thing he is more patient than I would be if the roles were reversed. Louis - Let me know if you see any difference with the new firmware. I'll try and send an update tomorrow. -Brian
