| A number of Questions which I keep wanting to ask: SPA9000: 1. In the SPA9000 FAQ at Sipura #10, it says "We recommend defining hunt groups in Huntgroups only and reference them in contact List as normal extensions". How do I name a hunt group as something that can go in the contact List? Example? 2. If I have 2 SIP providers, 1 configured in User 1, another in User 2, What do I set to allow an extension to choose which provider to use? Is it the Dial plan? 3. After hours when the office is unattended, I want to set up the 9000 to forward all Calls to a Land Line number (yes I do have a SPA3000 but I dont want to use that method). I have a SIP account configured in User 1 of the SPA900 which allows connections to land lines through their gateway. IE I can pick up an extension, dial 9, then a land line number. If I set call forward always to 9<land line number> on extension 1, then call ext 1 from ext 2, the call is forwarded successfully out of the gateway to the landline number. If I call from an outside line via the DID into the 9000 and then choose extension 1, the call forward to the landline number fails. In other words, how do I get the 9000/and or 942 to divert ALL calls regardless of origin to an outside number? SPA942 Questions: 1. If I have 2 independent extensions (ie not shared). I am on extention 11 and extension 12 is ringing. How can I pick it up the call on 12 especially if there are no "groups" defined. 2. Assuming SPA942s are registered independantly (not shared) on a SP9000 as 11 and 12. If I park a Call on 11, can I Pick up the parked call on 12? Or one the FXS ports on the 9000? 3. Assuming SPA942s are registered independantly (not shared) on a SP9000 as 11 and 12 and a different type of SIP phone is registered on 13. If I park a Call on 11, can I use Star Codes to pick up the parked call on 13? |

| Answering my own questions....god help us. SPA9000 #1, How to reference Hunt groups. Answer: in Hunt Groups (SIP Tab) configure the following 99:name="Everyone",1?,cfwd=aa This is Hunt group 99. For visual reference is called "Everyone", It dials all extensions with a 2 digit # starting with 1 (eg 10, 11, 12...), on no answer, goes to Auto Answer after "CallFwd No Answer delay" seconds. In the Line 1 (2,3,and/or4) tab, under Contact List, set 99 (or 99|other extns or hunt groups) |
