Cool Final Configuration Help

I have an spa9000 and spa4000, 6 spa962 phones, and a bit of a headache.
All firmware is up to date on all devices

I have a small office with 3 incoming pstn lines. Already figured out AA scripting, have everything working but I think it's a little Micky-Mouse.

What I would like to do:
Phone rings on pstn lines,
goes to all 6 phones,
on no answer goes to auto attendant,

no problem.... Got it!
but How should I set up extensions on my phones so that each call comes in on a different line key, cannot be picked up by someone else in the company unless parked or on hold, and everyone can tell who is on the phone at any given time, Possible?

Thanks, James

You mean external calls coming in? And coming in from where? Suppose you either mean the FXO ports or the SIP Lines on the SPA9000, it's commonly done by setting up shared lines on the phone.. one shared line per line you're trying to represent (it only works properly for inbound.. for outbound you'll have the problem that you cannot select which FXO port to use to make an outbound call.. that's no problem when using SIP lines). But that means no direct calling between the phones anymore, unless you keep one line per phone as a private, non shared.

Now the pickup bit is going to be impossible.. I have yet to see a way to prevent pickup (the PBX would have to block that), regardless of shared line or private line (and taking a parked call is technically not a pickup.. it's unparking

And as for

and everyone can tell who is on the phone at any given time
(that's a busy lamp field), you'll need SPA932 extension modules.

Thanks for that Humba, think I figured it out with shared extensions and contact list, etc. one more question, on the 962 phones is there any way to scroll through phone's directory by letter, i.e. I would like to press 9 and get all the w"s , thanks
