Default I broke my SPA9000.. How can i restore it to factory default

I got my new SPA9000 today.. plugged it in, all was good, i got dial tone on my phones.. I thought that i should change the IP address's so that it would match my network... Now i can't log into the web admin pages anylonger.. Heres what i did..

(a) disabled dhcp. my phones get an ip address from another dhcp source.
(b) changed the internet interface from dhcp to static ip
(c) changed the mode from NAT to Bridge
(d) change the ethernet ip address to a static as well

I can ping the box, on the address on the Internet box.. I can't get the web pages, on either address.. and the phones are not registering...

Is there a way to restore thigns?

From a phone connected to one of the ports try dialing **** followed by 73738# . I believe this will work on the 9000 as well as all sipuras.

I think that code only works, if the phone is registered with the SPA3000. My phones wont' even get that far!

If there is a reset pinhole on the back of your SPA9K, insert a pin to reset your unit for more than 30 secs. Once reset, your SPA9K will have its factory default values.

Using the IVR code from a handset attached to the FXS port is how you reset it, whether or not anything has actually registered with the SPA9000.

Phoneboy, I have a similar problem with my brothers SPA3000. It is installed in the USa, and I tried to make soem setting changes while connected to it through the internet from Egpyt. Upon submit, things went bonkers, the admin page doesn't come up, the IVR only goes as far as announcing "Sipura Configuration Menu", 110*, 101, 73738 etc do not work, there is no reponse.

I think I may have ended up corrupting the configuration when I tried to upload through the internet. I beleive there is a Sipura reset/recover software available?.. where can I get a copy of it?.

Thanks.
Rizwan

There is a SPA recovery tool available, you will have to request it from support@sipura.com though.

Your above statements gave me an impression that you were able to remotely access your brother's SPA3K IVR menu. Can you tell us how did you remotely access the IVR of your SPA3K?
