Brief Guide for Cisco 7940 to SPA9000? X-Lite too?

Can anyone post a brief guide for integrating Cisco 7940 IP Phones to a SPA9000? I haven't seen anyone document a solution...

Also a guide to linking an X-Lite software VoIP client to the SPA9000 would be great too...

Most IP phones work to make and receive calls, but have some limitations if not SPA-9xx phones. The incompatibilities we have seen include:

1. Can't do group pickup
2. Don't generate a ring-back to callers transferred from the aa
3. Can't register to a specific SPA400 voice mailbox (if using SPA400 voicemail)

Hello, Im also after system up a system like this... Have you come across anything yet. I can get two 7940 phones to call each other via the SPA9000 but there is no audio communication, just like the following post... http://forum.voxilla.com/linksys-spa...old-19743.html (SPA9000 internal calling dead air and Music on hold)

Im not sure what else to do??

No solutions found -- Cisco/Linksys is unhelpful as well.

Anyone have details on configuring the free X-Lite SIP software phone to the SPA9000?
