 WIP330 Crashes I have a WIP330 flashed to the latest firmware (1.02.12S). It is intended to work with a SPA9000 (another story), but at the moment the system crashes and reboots - PhoneCtrl.exe has a fatal error. The message is not displayed for long enough to take down the details. Does anyone have knowledge of this and is there a known fix? I haven't been able to work out whether it is an inherent instability or something within the wireless network which is triggering this. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks      |

| Re: WIP330 Crashes Yes, go here: http://wip330.110mb.com/ There is a later firmware version than the one you are using and you should upgrade to that if you can. It is possible that your firmware is damaged and and this will kill your system at boot and/or remove control panel icons. If your phone is not in a reboot/crash loop then you may be able to fix it enough to allow a normal firmware upgrade to proceed by logging into the WIP330 Windows CE operating system via your PC web browser. The website explains how. |
