| Hello, I have a Wireless network from Point A to point B In point A I have: -Linksys SPA 3000 with phone company wire connected to the PSTN. In point B I have: -Linksys PAP2. I need all the incoming calls from Point A to be redirected to point B, and all the outgoing calls from Point B to be redirected to point's A PSTN Line. The incoming calls worked fine with the following settings: -Ip dialing from each other using VoIP-To-PSTN and PSTN-To-VoIP. -Incomings calls are redirected to Point B using this dial plan: (SO<:user1@10.32.0.247:5066>) (and it works great) Please help, I dont know whats the dial plan that must be set on Linksys PAP2 for outgoing calls, I have one this but does not work, (<#:user2@10.32.0.246:5060>|*x|x.) Thank you in advice |

On the PAP2: dial plan: (S0<:user2@10.32.0.246:5061>) where user2 is the userid and 5061 is the port number of the PSTN Line port This would return a dial tone from the VoIP-to-pstn gateway when you lift the handset on the PAP2 (dial immediately). Under the VoIP-to-pstn gateway if you have the Default VoIP Caller set to None you should get the actual dial tone from the PSTN line. If you set it to one of the numbers you will use a dial plan setup on the pstn line tab for VoIP-to-pstn gateway and actually take the pstn line off hook at the completion of dialing. As an alternative, you could also call the Line 1 port (5060) but then you need to call forward incoming calls on that line to gw0. There is also a way that you can setup the two adapters so that you dial the outgoing number directly on the PAP2. This is useful if you have problems transmitting dtmf across the network. |
