Hi, I have spent 2 days now and failing miserably to know why my number isnt displaying in outgoing calls. I call another phone and is shows on the display "unknown number". My VoIP provider here in Sweden have informed me that they have turned off the "hide number" feature and so the problem lies in the installation of my spa942. Here are some of my options: SIP Server Name: $VERSION SIP Reg User Agent Name: (blank) Caller ID Header: PAID-RPID-FROM Use Outbound Proxy: no Display Name: MYNUMBER (of course my telephone number) User ID: MYID Password: MYPASSWORD Use Auth ID: yes Auth ID: MYID (same as User ID) I have tried several permutations but no luck. Does anyone know why this may still be plaguing me? Many thanks/ Luke

Of course Block CID Setting must = no, I am sure you have already done that. The caller ID number that is sent to the receiving phone is the number from the User ID field, however the receiving phone may not be able to process the caller_ID if it contains any non-numeric characters.

Hi, what firmware are u running? If 5.2.x, I think this may be relevant: "A new parameter, <Caller ID Header>, provides the option to take the caller ID from PAID-RPID-FROM, P-ASSERTEDIDENTITY, REMOTE-PARTY-ID, or FROM header."So, I think (?) that the followign should be true as your provider will be using the From field I would guess: Caller ID Header: FROM Not had chance to try this though myself. Good luck.
