Default Using SPA3000 with one handset and VoIP and PSTN lines

Linksys SPA942 Linksys SPA942
Stylish and sturdy 2- or 4-line business IP phone with 2 RJ-45s and Power Over Ethernet.
Price: $149.95
Hello,

I'd like to use one handset for VoIP and PSTN calls.

There are some questions about SPA3000:

1) If Internet is down how will I know that device switched to PSTN line?

2) How can I force during dialling select what line (VoIP or PSTN) to use?
For example, I cannot rich destination with VoIP and I want to dial with
PSTN.

3) I don't use PSTN-VoIP gateway. I have a call with VoIP (or PSTN).
Someone calls me to my PSTN (or VoIP) line.
- Will I hear the call?
- Will I see Caller ID?
- Can I hold on VoIP call and answer to PSTN

4) Can I create 3 way conference with diferent lines: VoIP-PSTN and me?

Thank you
Sergey

All of these questions have been asked and answered many times here in the forum. Have you read any previous postings?

1. As recommended several times, you can configure your Dial Tone to be different from that of your PSTN Dial Tone. When you have service you will hear the configured Dial Tone. When you do not have service you will hear the PSTN Dial Tone when you lift the phone.

2. You control all of this via your Line 1 Dial Plan. There are many examples here at your fingertips for you to choose from and modify to suit your particular requirements.

3. Yes, this is all possible.

4. Yes, this is possible.
