Default SPA3102 Back-to-back, why only one time incoming call allow

Hi Gurus,

Currently i had done the SPA3102 back-to-back setup. Is good that, from remote side, i can using the phone to make outgoing call through PSTN with no problem.

But, why for incoming call, after the call sucess and hangup the phone, the PSTN line status for SPA still showing the VoIP state: connected & call duration still incresing. So, the SPA's PSTN line status still remaining at OFF hook state. As we are not able to make or recieve the call. Thanks !

The first thought is that you are having a pstn disconnect detection problem.

The 3102 has a number of settings possible for PSTN disconnect detection. I would review the settings and try to determine if any of your settings should be changed.

You can review settings possible on page 64 of the Sipura ATA User's Guide:

Thanks for the reply. Yes, i also found that is the disconnect tone issue. Had put in 425@-48, 425@-48;4(.75/.75/1+2) at disconnect tone. Is working at my residentail phone for Singtel. But what is the disconnect tone setting for PhoneNet, Singtel ? As i need to deploy the units at PhoneNet System.

There are other disconnect detection options available besides disconnect tone. In addition, there is a sticky thread on how to discover a disconnect tone.

If you are attaching the 3102 to a PBX unit you need to verify the on hook and off hook voltages and set the In-Line User Voltage accordingly. This will effect the ability of the 3102 to take the line off hook to place a call.
