Have you forwarded port 5060 to the internal IP address of your SPA3000 in your router's NAT configuration?

Port forwarding? DHCP Server? Dynamic DNS?
The router jargon is rather foreign to me.

So this is what I found under PORT FORWARDING:
Netgear Custom Services

Ports - Custom Services

Service Name - FTP, HTTP ???
Starting Port - I'm guessing....5060?
Ending Port - no idea!
Server IP Address - would that be SPA3000 LAN IP?

I wouldn't advise forwarding any ports except as a last resort. Even then, I would try to avoid it.

Have you configured a STUN server on your 3000? Have you also enabled NAT resolution on each Line? For a STUN server I recommend stun.fwdnet.net:3478 and stun.softjoys.com:3478.

Mberlant

I read your 01/18/05 post from 'port 5060 and 5084 blocked', thx for the clarification. I have not port forward 5060.

A couple of questions:
I enabled Stun server and stun test (SIP), then entered stun:softjoys.com:3478 to STUN server, resulting in Line 1 changing from FAIL to NOT REGISTERED (PSTN Line reads: NOT REGISTERED). Is this correct?

If Line 1 - Stun server information is correct, where do I input stun.fwdnet.net:3478 information?

I am unclear on NAT resolution enablement on each line.
