| I have the following issue: the VOIP provider I'm using in the voip2 gateway uses the # for call transfer, so when I try to validate the PIN, i get a call transfer message and the # is not sent to the SPA. Is there any way to validate a PIN without pressing the #? Im trying to use VOIP caller auth method=none, and a plan like (<1234:>xx.|xxx[0-35-9]!) as a workaround, but it seems the 1234 is transmitted to the PSTN line. For example, (5xxxxxx) works fine, but the prior did not. Any help is appreciated! Regards, Juan |

| I'm trying to use VoIP to PSTN. All other are fine (Voip to Line 1, PSTN to Voip, Line1 to PSTN via gw0, and line1 to VoIP). I trying to make a VoIP call to the voip account configured under PSTN, the SPA answers ok and gives me tone for PIN validation, but I cannot enter the pin because my VoIP provider uses the "#" for transfers. So I'm trying to do a workaround with Auth=none, and trying to put some code in the dial plan. But still I cannot make it to work with the plan detailed below. |

| There is no way to come in via the PSTN Line VoIP service and go out via the PSTN Line VoIP service in the same call. VoIP-to-PSTN functionality allows you to call your PSTN Line VoIP telephone number, enter your PIN and make an outbound call via your home or office telephone line plugged into the "LINE" jack of the SPA.

| So, this problem is occurring after you are connected through your SPA and are talking to the destination? Is this a bank, for example, that requires you enter a PIN and then # before conducting business? Just to be clear - 1. You are successfully using a phone outside your home to ring the phone number associated with your PSTN Line. 2. Your SPA answers the call and you input your VoIP-to-PSTN PIN. 3. Your SPA accepts your PIN and gives you secondary Dial Tone to call out. 4. You dial the phone number you wish and your SPA uses your POTS phone line to make the call. 5. You hear the greeting from the destination party and their invitation to input your PIN. 6. You input your PIN, but upon pressing # at the end your VoIP service provider gives you a Secondary Dial Tone so that you can transfer the call instead of passing the # through to the destination so that you can accomplish your business. Is this all correct?

| You have an issue that you need to resolve between the SIP client you are using to originate your call and the VoIP provider you are using to originate the call. Chances are excellent that there is nothing wrong in the configuration or operation of your SPA3000. What client device or softphone are you using to originate? What service provider is that client using?

| If they could change the trigger to something you won't need for anything else, like ##, you could have everything. Alternatively, you could use a different service, like FWD, for the purpose of connecting your eyeBeam to your SPA's PSTN Line.
