| Hi, I have used my SPA3000 for over a year already without any problems. Although in the beginning I had some acho problems these were solved quite quickly after correcting the impedance that was set for the FXS and FXO port. Also I have been able to dial directly from my SPA3000 to other voip users with a voipbuster account directly with sip to sip by adding "accountname@sip1.voipbuster.com" in the speeddial setting under the "User 1" tab. Recently I have registered for an account with budgetphone.nl. Reason for that is that I would like to have a local VoIP-in number and would like to migrate my current fixed line number to a VoIP number (this is one of th services they offer). However I would still like to be able that other people can contact me through my sip account directly. This should be able by dialing the speed dial numebr with the "accountname@budgetphone.nl" configured in it. This does not seem to work. However if I use a SIP softphone like SJPhone and dial "sip:accountname@budgetphone.nl" it does work. I have tried several configurations already and contacted the budgetphone support department already but cannot get it to work. I wander if anyone on this forum has any idea. Maybe you can try and setup a connection with your SPA3000 to their support sip account "31717110300@budgetphone.nl" and find out what seems to be the problem. Unnecesary to say that you should not all call this account without realizing it is a live number. Please do not stalk them but only use it to try and solve the problem. In my case I never get through with my SPA3000 so causing them no problems. I guess you will have the same problem :-( Hope anyone can help solving this issue or at least find the cause of the problem and explain why it cannot be done. | When I tried the SPA3000 speed dial to "31717110300@budgetphone.nl" I got a fast busy and an ethereal trace showed that there was a DNS lookup failure. budgetphone.nl is not an "A" type server. When I tried it to "31717110300@sip.budgetphone.nl" the sip.budgetphone.nl server gave me an error message "403 relaying denied" and my SPA returned a fast busy. I have a somewhat similiar problem trying to dial my voipbuster sip uri. I can forward a DID from IPKall to the sip uri. I can call the sip uri from my pc using SJPhone, but when I try to speed dial it from my SPA3000 an ethereal trace shows that the call is rejected by voipbuster as unauthorized. The only difference that I can find between calling with SJPhone and calling the sip uri with my SPA3000 is that with SJPhone I have the phone registered to FWD and the call invite goes to the FWD server whereas when I call it from my SPA3000 speed dial the call goes directly to voipbuster. I don't know the answer. Edit: Can you still call your account at voipbuster from your SPA3000 using speed dial and a sip uri? Edit2: With the VoipBuster sip uri dialing, I found that if I removed from line 1 the userid, set make call without reg yes, the Speed Dial will work. Once you put in the userid it gets an error return code of not authorized. This, of course, makes the line 1 provider not usable. I tried this with your sip uri at sip.budgetphone.nl and I still get the 403 Relaying Denied error message, so that must be a different problem. | Thanks for trying. Budgetphone came back with an answer stating that they require authentication and that this is not supported by the SPA3000 (when using speed dial). I would expect that this is just a communication thing and that it would be fully supported by the SPA3000. They also mentioned that I should use "accountname@budgetphone.nl:sip.budgetphone.nl " but that this would not fit into the SPA3000. Well it does fit in the speed dial but it has the same affect. Maybe a dumb question but what is an "A" type server? And what does the "403 relaying denied" message indicate? Yes I can still dial a SIP URL using my SPA3000 speed dial. I use "accountname@sip1.voipbuster.com" and it is working fine. I have several relatives where I have installed a SPA3000 as well and always call them directly to their SIP URL. Works great. This is also the reason why I would like to get this direct SIP URL working from the SPA3000. |

| Then there must be some way to do it on my SPA3K. I just can't find it without removing the userid. I don't know what the sip status message 403 relaying denied message means. You can do a Google search on it and get some information but I can not understand the implications. I think it has something to do with them wanting you to send the call to budgetphone.nl instead of sip.budgetphone.nl. This link shows all the servers for budgetphone.nl. The SPA only does DNS for "A" or host type servers DNS Lookup - budgetphone.nl ALL I tried the following and it gets a DNS error on budgetphone.nl (and consequently a fast busy): "31717110300@budgetphone.nl:sip.budgetphone.nl " |

| Mine works fine with the userid in place. I use my line 1 account obviously for recieving direct inbound voip calls and the calls passed throught from th FXO port of course. I only can't get it to work that I can reach other accounts directly with there budgetphoen SIP URL. I can reach anyone else with a voipbuster SIP URL without any problem. |

| I see budgetphone.nl is listed on SipBroker as working through their service with a prefix of *326. I would try sip uri calling thru SipBroker. |
