| I've searched the forum for this already, and couldn't find anything. Perhaps it is a strange request, but I would like my SPA3000 to "answer" on the PSTN line and transfer to my SPA-1001, but only if the SPA-1001 answers. In other words: 1. PSTN line rings 2. SPA3000 rings SPA-1001 3. If SPA-1001 answers: a) SPA3000 answers the PSTN call B) SPA3000 transfers the PSTN call via VOIP to the SPA-1001 4. If SPA-1001 doesn't answer, SPA3000 doesn't answer PSTN line The result would be that if I'm not available on the SPA-1001, the call would be answered by my telco's voice mail. Any ideas or suggestions? Otherwise, I can use my PBX system to handle this, by connecting the PSTN line to a PBX extension, but I would need to somehow tell the SPA3000 that if it can't reach the SPA-1001, to send a "flash" and then 300 to the PBX (via the PSTN/extension) so that the PBX "takes" the call back. I can't seem to figure out how to do a "no answer" for the SPA-3000 to tell it if it can't reach the SPA-1001, that it needs to do this. Another quick/easy question that I can't seem to find anywhere - when I connect the SPA-1001 to my PBX, I can't figure out how to send a "flash" to the PBX - the SPA-1001 "eats" it first and thinks I'm trying to switch the second VOIP line. Thanks for any help anyone can offer. Maybe there is a really easy solution and I'm missing it? Or maybe I'm trying to do the impossible... Thanks! Kelly. |

| Found a possible solution here: http://voxilla.com/forum-viewtopic-t-1335.html. I didn't think of it before, as I wasn't running *, but it should work without * (hopefully!) I guess there isn't any way to get the SPA3000 or SPA-1001 to send a "Flash" signal down the line, though? Thanks, Kelly. |
