 SPA3000 outgoing fax fails (PTSN) I have a SPA3000 configured with VoicePulse. When I try to send a fax, have TiVo dialup, etc, I have the devices dial 9, (to access the PTSN line) then it dials the #. When the SPA-3000 turns the PTSN call into a VoIP call the Fax/Tivo always fails. If I unplug the SPA3000 so it hard switches over to the PTSN line everything works perfectly. Theres gotta be away to get the PTSN over Line1 to work w/o me having to unplug the SPA when I need to fax =)     |

| What is your sound quality when you make a voice call from Line 1 via the PSTN Line? Does it sound clean? Loud? Soft? Since you mention TiVO, may I assume that you are in the US? Is your impedance set properly if you are not (600 for the US)? Your problem is most likely a gain problem. Based on what your ears tell you on a PSTN voice call you will likely need to adjust the PSTN Tx and/or Rx gain.
