Default SPA3000 - Mutual Phone as a Gateway provider

I am using Broad Voice as my main [line 1] VoIP provider with a Sipura SPA3000 adapter.

I have been using Mutual Phone as the Gateway 1 provider. I had a problem with my SPA3000 tonight and had to do a complete reset. To get it to work with BV I am using firmware version 2.0.8 - BV told me they do not support later firmware.

I cannot now get my Mutual Phone configuration to work.

The Gateway 1 account on Line 1 of the SPA has four items to complete / chose and I have the settings in bold:

Gateway 1: [my number]@sip.winradius.net
GW1 Auth ID: [my number]
GW1 NAT Mapping Enable: NO
GW1 Password: [my password]

The Mutual Phone FAQ gives a lot of other settings to change in the Line 1 and SIP tabs if Mutual Phone is the main provider. Some of these configurations clash with BV. I have not therefore changed any of them as set out in the MP FAQ.

What else do I need to change to use Mutual Phone as my Gateway 1 provider? I have the following entry in my Dial Plan: |<0:011972>[57]xxxxxxxx<:@gw1>SO|. The only numbers I want to be able to dial with Mutual Phone are Israeli mobile numbers all of which have as the first digit of the Israeli area code '5' or '7', i.e. 011-972-5*-*******.

It is frustrating as I had the GW1 working before the foul up which necessitated factory resetting the SPA unit.

Any help will be appreciated as this is very frustrating having had everything working once!

The syntax you are using for gateways is only supported by firmare rev 2.011g and later.

Gabbai,

Don't worry about BV "not supporting" the recent firmware. Go ahead and upgrade your firmware again. Just remember that if you have trouble in the future and need to have BV provision your ATA for testing they might downgrade you again in order to perform the test and correct the problem that proves to be on their end.

In order to do their troubleshooting, BV needs to have as many elements of the puzzle nailed down to something they are confident with, including SPA firmware.
