Default SPA3000 FXS port gain

My phone is attached to an FXS port on SPA3000. If I can barely hear someone, which gain do I need to increase: FXS port input gain or FXS port output gain? I tried changing each of them with no audible results.
Any recommendations?

You should change FXS output gain. Some phones like the ones I use can increase/decrease hearphone volume. Doesn't yours allow to do that?

Juan C,
My phone is at max, and FXO port gain at +3dB. I changed it all the way to +9dB - no audible difference.

Why don't you try with another phone. Also try going down with gain.

I am trying to help you. I have not had that problem; that is why I am just recommending you to try several option to find which one solves your problem.

Kir,

You don't mention what country you are in. Your SPA must be configured to match the electrical characteristics of the phone equipment you are connecting to it. If it is a mismatch you will experience poor voice quality.

Are you aware that the changes will not take effect until the unit reboots? Many people change these settings while on line and expect that the changes are dynamic.

As soon as I make the change, my Sipura reboots by itself.
