I bought a SPA2102-NA from a service provider(Not Vonage) while using their services. I'm trying to switch to another carrier, but I do not have the admin login and only user login. They said if I do a hard reset using ***73738# then it will delete all configuration including the admin login password...How true is this? I thought it only clears up everything, but except the admin login password. I want to make sure they're not trying to screw with me so that they can charge me "programming" fee. Thanks!

So, why not go ahead and try.. you don't even risk anything - you'll have one last chance to stop even after entering the password as the option requires manual confirmation. And if you never get there, you know where you're at, too.

Depends, DO NOT DO THIS with a SunRocket account (for example) as the passwords get reset, but not to any known, and it disables web interface etc. To unlock SunRocket (may or may not help in your case, taken from another blog): On the Linksys, web admin access is disabled. To enable it, pick up phone, dial * * * * then 723646# , when asked for password, dial 78778839# , when asked for value dial 1# then dial 1 to save. Then, go to »192.168.0.1/admin/voice/advanced , enter user and password. If gizmo behind router, you also need to enable access from WAN side with option 7932# . Of course, substitute gizmo WAN address in above URL. To hear it, use option 110# User: admin Password:7UprUtew |

I didn't do a reset of my Linksys SPA2102-R and when I dial **** and put in 723646# and then the password 78778839# it says INVALID PASSWORD. Help! No one has a fix for this? A crack? new firmware I can download that will fix it? anything at all? thanks!!

I need help. I have a spa2102-R. I've already unlocked it with the live CD. I even upgrade the firmware to the 5.2.3. Then I tried to use a BroadVoice line. Then, by mistake, instead of doing an user reset (****877778#), I'VE DONE A FACTORY RESET (****73738#). Now, I'm not being successful in unlocking it again with the LIVE CD. The web admin access (****723646#) does not work anymore with the password 79309925#. I do not know what to do anymore! Any hint??? Thanks Ricardo Machado
