Default SPA2102 & Fax Support

I have an SPA2102 which I've configured and it seems to be working fine for incoming and outgoing calls. I'd like to connect it to FAX machine and I've adjusted the properties as noted in the Sipura/Linksys notes about this.

However an incoming call appears to be picked up and then immediately dropped but only when the fax machine is physically connected to the line1 port. If I place a phone on line1 then it rings and receives the call as normal. The fax machine intself registers no activity at all and is set to answer after 6 rings.

Having exhausted the notes I can find I would apprecaite any help in narrowing down what it is that's wrong in the config that's causing this. I have Syslog output but frankly it's not meaning much to me.

Thanks.
