Default SPA configuration wizard - how does Voxilla do it?

Linksys SPA9000 Linksys SPA9000 PBX
A full-featured key system/PBX hybrid with 4 or more Linksys business phones (upgradable to 16).
Price: $299.95
I want to write a web-based configurator for my Sipuras similar to the voxilla and Sipura ones. Users would click a few option buttons and enter an IP address and it would update the Sipura.

Can someone give me an idea of how this is achieved? What do I need to send to the Sipura so that it only updates certain values? Is it as simple as posting a few name, value pairs to "http://SipuraIPaddressortno/admin/asipura.spa"?

For information I've read quite a lot of posts on Sipura configuration. So far I have
- downloaded the nice bit of software from dualarrow
- seen the web-based configuration wizards on the Voxilla and Sipura websites
- seen the technique of saving the Sipura's webpage, and replacing the <form action="asipura.spa" method="POST"> with <FORM action=http://SipuraIPaddressortno/admin/asipura.spa method=post>.

None of them do what I want - I want to build my own.

Regards

Cameron

There's no magic to the configuration wizards. Really. At the end of the day, all we are doing is passing name/value pairs to the device's web interface.

Where can I get the names to values mapping?, is this available somewhere. I would like to prepare some customized settings that can be uploaded to a Sipura on demand. There are some mappings that are not used in the configuration tool that I need. Specifically I'm interested in the values for GW2 -> GW4 option values.
Thanks.

The quickest way to get all of these values is to bring up your Sipura's management page, view its "Page Source", and print it off. From there you will see all of the XML tags as well as the entire list of values from each pull down box and the values that are currently in your SPA (except for passwords, which are write only and will never show).

Thanks, I just about figured that one out. With the quick help that I'm getting here I'm wondering if I'm getting a bit lazy in first posting the question and *then* doing the thinking for myself!.
