Default SPA behind router or with its own WAN IP?

I have a DSL line with multiple static WAN IPs available to me. What is the best way to hook up my computer network and VoIP service?
1. Put the SPA 3120 with its own WAN IP and my router with a second WAN IP?
2. PUt the SPA 3120 behind my router and use my routers QOS for my VoIP?
3. Something else. I'd really like to get this done correctly, the first time, so I'd love to get a consensus from people.

Thanks.

Unless you have problems making the 3102 work thru the router over the internet I would put the 3102 behind the router. However, that is just my opinion.

I go with behind the router. Let the SPA do voice processing and let network equipment route.
