Default SPA 941/942 Configuration Wizard problems

I have a configuration wizard for the 941. Looking at the 942, it seems the same application should work for both but it will not work for the 942. I get a message back that says the page can not be displayed. Does anyone know what is different about the 942?

You can view source at http://www.voipyourlife.com/wizards/cfg-spa941.html

Its a simple app that pushes an update to to the SPA941. Since the fields are the same in both the 941 and the 942 it should work for both, right?

Thanks,

Dennis Smith

In theory, but I haven't seen the web interface on the SPA942. It could either have different name/value pairs or have a different URL to post the configuration.

That's what I get for overlooking the obvious. The web pages look identical. I checked and they do post to the same URL. I didn't verify the field names were the same and guess what? They aren't. Thanks for the response.

For various reasons, the underlying name/value pairs change from device to device. You always have to check that when making these kinds of configuration wizards.
