I have an SPA-3102 and i'm having a difficult time getting the settings right for the PSTN connection. I have this connected via an Asterisk PBX. Symptoms: It will ring, but the PBX will intermittently think the call has stopped, then pick up ringing again as if it were a different call. Once answered, the call stays connected, but neither party can hear each other. This kind of worked at one time, but when fooling around with the settings it's gotten a lot worse. Part of the problem is that I can't find any specifications for what the costa rica telephone system requires. Here are my PSTN international settings FXO Port Impedance - 600 Tip/Ring Voltage Adjust - 3.5V Operational Loop Current Min 0 10 mA Current Limiting Enable - no Line In-Use Voltage - 30 Ring Freq/Max - 10/100 Ring Validation time 256ms Ring Indication Delay: 512ms Ring timeout: 640ms Rnig Threshold - 13.5 - 16.5Vrms Ringer Impedance: high Anyone have any suggestions?

after a long time testing, I found the best configuration for SIP 3102 PSTN tab in CR is: disconnect tone: 425@-30,421@-30;4(.33/.33/1+2) DTMF: rfc2383, using AVT band, strict mode Impedance depends on how long are you from "ICE", 600 ohms seems to work fine, anyway try with 900 ohms I am using 3102 as the PSTN port for my trixbox and works fine so far, Good luck, Juan ( Also from CR )

Don´t worry, Almost 80% of the important enterprises in Costa Rica are doing VoIP. By the way, have you play with the other values of PSTN Disconnect Detection section ? Sometimes I have problems with early disconnection.... Thanks,
