Default SPA 3000 + Switch + Transfer (recall)

Hi,

We've just acquired a pair of SPA3000's, and set them up using the instructions from this board (thank you thank you thank you). We are using them to extend an analogue line from our phone switch, over IP, to a remote location. The phone works great, it's just another extension

The problem is transferring calls. When the analogue handset is directly connected to the switch, we can use the 'recall' button to transfer calls. When connected over the SPA3Ks, this feature doesn't work.

Can anyone help, is it a dial-plan thing or a timing thing? We're using a UK switch, I've changed some of the settings to match http://voxilla.com/index.php?name=PN...ewtopic&t=2963
but, this doesn't seem to have helped.

Thanks in advance.

Default RE: SPA 3000 + Switch + Transfer (recall)

It is currently not possible to convey a switchhook flash from the FXO port of a SPA3000 to the PABX or CO trunk it is connected to.

Many of us are hoping to see that feature added in a future firmware release, because that will allow for better PABX integration as well as for home users to retain their Call Waiting and 3-way Calling services from their local telephone company.

Thanks mberlant, at least we have definitve answer

Not to worry, owing to the way we will be using the system, we might be able to use 'Callview' to do the transfers.

Thanks again
