Default SPA 3000 Incoming PSTN Call is dropped

Hey,

I have got a SPA 3000 configured using various VOIP Providers nicely but for the last few days sometimes when an incoming PSTN call is received my handset starts to ring and when I go to answer it the line is dead!

I only hear the SPA 3000 dial tone!

This has now happened a few times but with other calls it connects fine???

Anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?

Thanks...

I've got exactly the same problem...

When people call me on the PSTN line EVERY time the sames thing happens:
- 1st time it rings and when I answer it drops
- 2nd time it works fine

That's really a strange problem

So has anyone out there got a solution for this problem???

This must be a problem that others are experiencing too but I have not seen a solution or even a report of this happening anywhere else bar this thread!!!

I have seen the same, but when I found the right setting for the PSTN Disconnect Detection and the right delay setting for sensing a call PSTN Ring Timeout: 8 my SPA3000 became stable. My configuration (Danish PSTN line).
