Hi ,

I am new to this VOIP.

I would appreciate if any one can shed some light for my SPA 3000 configuration:

I want my friend who lives abroad to get the dial tone of my locked Voip service Vonage (US) using his FWD account.

He has a SP 2000 ATA which is configured for FWD.I have a locked ATA with vonage and SPA 3000.

Is this possible using FWD? If so please provide the configuration for SPA 3000.

It's quite possible, if you plug the Vonage adapter into the "Line" side of the SPA3000, and then configure the SPA-3000 correctly.

However, doing so would almost certainly be a violation of the agreement you signed to get Vonage service (which unless they have changed it since I was a Vonage customer, clearly stated that your VoIP service was for your use, not for sharing with others)!

So do you really want to be breakiing your contract with Vonage (and risk the legal and financial implications of doing so), to set this up for your "friend"?

I want to test this configuration and cancel Vonage and go for some other Service like BV,Telasip....

I configured FWD in Line 1 of my SPA 3000 and hooked the Vonage adapter to the PSTN line using a splitter.
Whenever I try to call the FWD using another FWD I am getting busy tone.

I couldn't find any sample configuration for this setup in this forum.

FWD --> FWD --->PSTN(VOIP DEVICE)

Can you provide the configuration details i.e VOIP--->PSTN?
