 Spa-2000 old firmware? I am trying to unlock my PAP2 using the DNS spoof method. I need to get the SPA-2000 2.0.9 firmware in order to unlock it. Any one have a copy?     |

| You don't need to go for very old firmware, 2.0.13g for spa2000 should work fine, this can be downloaded from: http://www.sipura.com/support/index.htm |

| In fact he will most likely need SPA2000-2.0.9d or 2.0.10a firmware.. That is because the firmware with those release versions did not require the provision XML be encrypted... even if it had an encryption key! That was the original unlock for the pap2 device. It worked for many of the Sipura devices that had firmware dated from that version.. Way back, Sipura used to have a FAQ posted with the actual XML profile lines to reset the Admin passwd... (I think the title for that entry was '...what if I forget my admin pwd?...' Oh well.. times change. Last I heard, a PAP2-2.0.9d has been found.. so don't stop here in your search! Google is your friend. |
