Default SPA 2000 lights - what do they mean?

I have an SPA 2000 that has been working fine over the past 18 months. A few days back it hung and since then, I have noticed that there is a sequence of blinks on the front light "one long and two short" - what does this mean and how can I find out more about them.
My SPA has not been working since and I cannot even access it through the web interface.

Try using this recovery utility from Sipura.

When you execute the program choose recover firmware and type your SPA2000 serial number when requested.

Default Sipura 2000 problem

SIPURA SPA2000 lights 1 long - 2 short
I tried the recovery utility but the software could not see the SPA.... I guess it is not picking up an IP address from the DHCP

This is what the manual states about LED units:

One LED for Unit Status (Figure 5, above):
This LED indicates status via the following behaviors:
ON – LED remains solid on
OFF – LED remains solid off
LONG (Long On) – 3.0s on, 1s off continuously
FAST – 0.1s on, 0.1s off continuously
SLOW – 0.5s on, 0.5s off continuously
VSLO (Very Slow) – 1.0s on, 1.0s off continuously
HB (Heart Beat) – 0.1s on, 0.1s off, 0.1s on, 1s off continuously
HB2 (Heart Beat 2) - 0.1s on, 0.1s off, 0.1s on, 0.1s off, 0.1s on, 1.2s off continuously
ERR0(Error 0) - 0.5s on, 0.3s off, 0.1s on, 0.1s off, 0.1s on, 2s off continuously
ERR1(Error 1) – 0.1s on, 0.1s off, 0.1s on, 0.1s off, 0.5s on, 2s off continuously
ERR2(Error 2) – 0.1s on, 0.1s off, 0.1s on, 0.1s off, 0.5s on, 0.2s off, 0.5s on, 2s off continuously

In SipuraSPAAdminGuidev2.0.9.pdf, page 136 you can read LED explanationg that include:

ERR2 = IP Address Confilict
ERR0 = Ethernet Link Detected

Which one is your case?

It seems that it is ERR0 but I don't have a conflict (which is strange!!). I managed to change the IP address of the SPA-2000 (through phone connection) and managed to log onto the web admin..... As soon as I hit the refresh button on explorer, the SPA-2000 refused to let me back in again and I couldn't see it on the network.
Upon pinging the box, I got 3 lost packets and 1received out of a total of 4 sent packets.....
I think something is wrong internally to the box.... I am not sure though...... how can I test it? and what is other assistance that could be provided?
I have emailed Sipura, they answered once but did not respond to my second mail which I had confirmed certain things to them.

Try configuring your SPA-2000 to get an IP address from the DHCP server and see if the problem persists.

DHCP is already disabled in SPA and it sometimes does take an IP from my router; other times it does not.... so something is wrong there.....

Enable DHCP by Picking up the phone and dialing ****101, then dial 1 to enable DHCP and see how it behaves.

Razmi:

If your Sipura 2000 is connected to your router and you what I told you in my previous post, the SPA2000 will get an IP address assigned by your routers DHCP server. How could it mess things up with your router?
