Default SPA-1001 Trouble

I have a SPA-1001 that doesn't work anymore. I was able to get in at one point but had to default it using the phone after I messed up some settings. Anyways, now it will not pull DHCP and if I put a static IP in it still does not work right. I opened the case and noticed a jumper inside. Is this another way to default it? I need help ASAP. Thanks.

Have you tried a firmware reflash? I might have gotten corrupted. Of course, the unit might just be broken and you need to RMA it.

The unit is a few years old. Have not tried upgrading firmware, I cannot even get to the device via IP, only on the phone.

Try **** then the numbers that spell "RESET," then comfirm.
This is a hard reset, so you'll lose all your settings, plus will need to upgrade your firmware again. This might be your only hope, if you can't access any configuration options.

Already did the reset and still cannot get it to grab a DHCP address or reply to an IP I manually entered.

get a network scanner to scan the range of ip addresses, you can then eliminate the other computers on your network and see the ip of the adaptor. Then send the reset command.

Try another port on the switch or preferably connect it directly to cable/dsl modem for a second to see whether the LED light will come on. If it does, try different switch otherwise do RMA on the sipura.

I tried it with other switch-devices. On most devices the LED is off, but
there is 1 switch where the LED is ON. But also on this switch I cannot ping the device (with DHPC I get no IP and with static IP no ping)

If I connect the SPA directly to my cablemodem, DHCP seems to work. I can acess the webmenu over WAN from another PC. But its not a stable web-interface, sometimes it works the he tries to load a page forever...

Maybe it has someting to do with the type of the swich (100 / 10 ) ?

Isn't ther any recovery-Software for the SPA-1001 ???
