| Hello, I own SPA3000 and had the following problem, 1. VOIP(First Line) Echo problem 2. PSTN line Bad voice quality. I did the fix this by doint the following steps(port forwarding). FYI, I copied it from other forum. --> Pick up your ViaTalk phone and enter ****, at the Configuration Menu enter 110#. A voice will read you the IP of your adapter. Write this down. --> If you are unfamiliar with how to enable port forwarding on your router, we recommend visiting the following site: http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm --> Your router's IP address will appear in the middle of the page. Highlight this address and paste it into your internet browser. For example: http://192.168.15.1 --> Then, enter the setup for your router. Default login: (blank) Password: Admin Routers may vary, but look for Port Triggering/Forwarding or something similar. --> Type in ViaTalk(or your voip name) and the range would be 5060-5061. Set protocol to UDP. Put in the last digit of the adapter's IP address and then click enable. --> For the second line, type in ViaTalk(or your voip/pstn name) and the range is 10000 20000. Set protocol to UDP. Put in the last digit of the adapter's IP address and then click enable. --> type in ViaTalk(or your voip/pstn name) and the range is 10000 20000. Set protocol to UDP. Put in the last digit of the adapter's IP address and then click enable. --> Apply/Save changes. |
