Default Softphone for the SPA9000

I've tried:
X-Lite
AdoreSoftphone
SipXPhone
snow360

no luck. I got the furthest with X-Lite.. it seems to register with the PBX (the extension shows up in the status of the pbx and I can call it from my spa hardphones), but the registration never completes (X-Lite complains about a 408 timeout error) on the phone itself so making calls is not possible. It feels kinda reminiscent of the registration problems with the WIP-300 when sharing an extension between an SPA hardphone and a WIP phone

Has anybody had any luck with a softphone on the SPA9000?

Default RE: Softphone for the SPA9000

it appears I have managed to answer my own question by finding PhonerLite: http://www.phonerlite.de/index_en.htm
It can't handle shared lines though.. when it gets a SIP Multiple Choices Message (status 300), it simply drops the call without sending any further messages or giving any indication to what is going wrong.

  • The configuration of every device involved
  • SIP protocol traces
