Default Sipura SPA-841 Headset problems

I'm using the SPA-841 with Asterisk and it works great with the Handset. We have tried two Plantronics headsets and both will not allow the caller to hear you (microphone not working). The model of the plantronics is the m175. I'm confused as to why a simple 2.5 mm headset would not work properly on the SPA-841. The headset was tested on other devices like cell phones and the mic works fine.

If you have this phone and have been successful with a headset, let me know what model headset you used.

Any help would be great!
Jeff

I'm just using the crappy uniden headset that came with one of my cordless phones and it works fine. It's possible your headset jack might be busted.

You're right. The headset jack does not work right. I tried the headset on another SPA-841 and it worked fine. The company said this was their first RMA for this phone.
