OK. I just finished setting SPA-2000 with VoicePulse & FWD and am happy to report that everything works GREAT ! Got SPA from Voxilla. Setup FWD on Line #2. Worked great. Got VP line activated, but it it didn't work. Send em@il to VP Tech.Support. Got this response in couple of hours: "Hello, Thanks for contacting VoicePulse. 1) Reset your SPA by picking up the phone and dialing ****73738# followed by 1 to confirm 2) Get the IP address of your SPA by picking up the phone and dialing ****110# 3) Browse to the following address where a.b.c.d is the IP address of your SPA: "http://a.b.c.d/admin/resync?tftp://fe.voicepulse.com/init" 4) Wait 60 seconds for the STATUS light to stop blinking 5) Pick up the phone and listen for a dial tone 6) Your account should now be ready to make/receive phone calls" Did exactly that. It reflashed new firmware from VP tftp server and got VP dial tone instantly (on Line #1). FWD settings were deleted on Line #2. I had to re-enter them again. After I re-entered FWD settings for Line #2 now my FWD line works OK again. One interesting thing - VoicePulse updated firmware on SPA. When it came from Voxilla it had "Software Version: 1.0.9". After VoicePulse upgraded firmware now it says "Software Version: 1.0.12" You can't see changes, since almost all the settings pages are now locked-out. I don't care what they do as long as it works great. And it is working great. I have SPA-2000 with VoicePulse & FWD. It sounds MUCH BETTER & CLEARER than either my ATA-186 (with 2 FWD lines) or my Vonage ATA. And I was Downloading a lot of files at the same time. But OOL gives me a lot of bandwith, so it is OK. BTW - all of them are behind the same Linksys BEFSR81 router. No ports are forwarded and all devices work perfectly fine. I am going to continue testing SPA & VP in next couple of days. If it continues working great (as I think it will) - Vonage is getting cancelled for the 2nd time (1st time it was because of Packet8). I was dying to use VoicePulse, because of it's options. But I didn't like that they didn't have Florida lines. Now that they added them I can finally use all great VP features - and for less money than Vonage. End

So far 1 of my FWD lines works fine on line 2. FWD VM also works fine. Audio is clear. There are some clicks that I didn't have on ATA (after dialing # and before hang-up), but I don't hear them during the conversation, just before or after. I have to call more FWD #s to check. I requested VoicePulse line. They haven't completed the order, and didn't turn it on yet. I have to wait for that to test VP. I was able to call via Vonage ATA-186 to IPKall (360) # associated with my FWD # programmed in SPA-2000. It rang instantly. I conferenced the call and was able to do an Echo Test by using both Vonage ATA (VoIP -> PSTN) to FWD SPA # (PSTN -> VoIP) with both behind my Linksys BEFSR81 QoS Router. So far so good.

No problems with stability. I works great with both VoicePulse (Line 1) & FWD (Line 2) I heard some clicks when Answering Machine connects, and little funny sounds when I was entering numbers for VM, but not all the time, so I still have to check on that. Besides that it is working 100% great. Vonage ATA looses the connection in the middle of the call - VoicePulse (or FWD) SPA works like a charm on the same router - at least for the first day that I have it running.
