| Can I connect the sipura FXO to a digital PBX extension ? I had some problems doing this, Sipura was not recognizing the dial tone or something, I could'nt get dial tone. I allways got the reorder tone. Is it a problem with the PBX being digital or something else? Thanks in advance, |

| Thanks, I'll check to see if the interface is analog. I tried to connect one ordinary phone and it works great. How is it possible that the ordinary $5 phone works but the sp3000 not ? Thanks again, |

| That is important information. It could be that your PBX is idling at a voltage that is too low for your SPA. Or, it could be more serious. First, plug your ordinary phone into the Line jack of your SPA and connect the PSTN jack to your PBX. Remove power from the SPA and see if you get a PBX dial tone in "Power Failure Mode." If this works, then at least you know that the connectors, cords, etc., are all in good shape. Next, try reducing the "Line-In-Use Voltage", which is at the bottom of the "PSTN Line" page from 30 to 20. If you have a voltmeter handy you can first try reading the idle voltage across this PBX port. It should be 48vdc, but yours may be much less. See if this helps, and please let us know. Michael
