Updated version with additional functionality

Get the utility v2.04a from http://sipura.clacy.com

Main functionality added is
- Low Line Voltage detection
- Update notification
- Additional fields on the Screen (Firmware and Sipura Device Uptime)

You can enable the Low Voltage detection and update notification in Setup. (you can always read the readme.rtf as well!)

The utility gives a visual indicator if the On Hook Voltage drops. (This indicates the line could be disconnected). It will also log it in the registration log file under VOLT so you can keep a history of disconnects / reconnects. This log is designed to give you an indication of the reliability of your VoIP and PSTN Link

The utility can also be setup to poll my web server for notification of version changes (just in case your not tuned to Whirlpool / Voxilla!)

As always you feedback and encouragement is greatly appreciated.

Updated version with additional functionality

get the utility v2.06b from sipura.clacy.com

Main functionality added is
Performance Monitoring and Tuning
Web Browser

When running on slow machines (a P3 300 or worse there is a trade off between CPU and the time taken to process. Ideally we want to be able to process the data quickly using the least resources. There is a tuning option called CPU Yield that decreases the CPU utilisation (but increases procesing time). Refer to the readme for more details.

If you have a 2Ghz or better there is little to be gained from changing the default setting.

Cheers

Default Problem with "Recent Calls" Log

Hi all,

I’m using the monitor and the Line 1 and PSTN Line status are working in the good way, my concern is about the “Recent Calls” Log that shows “No call data recorded” even the PSTN Line Status detects the Last PSTN Caller and the Last Called VoiP Number. I have also selected at the setup menu the “Keep XLM Log of Registration….” And Call Log XML File Name (callLogs.xml)

Any suggestion?

I have WIN XP SP2, System Tray Monitor Ver 2.04a and SPA3000 with Software Ver 3.1.5(GWb)

Default error message...

FYI: when the program is on the screen (not in the tray) during a call, it generates an error "Object variable or With block variable not set."

Hi, Someone else had a similar problem where it turned out to be an invalid character in one of the fields in the web page on the SPA. When she deleted the value and readded it it worked.

I found this by making a copy of the calllog.xml file and then opening the copy in a web browser and the first part of it displayed up to the line with the error. I then opened the file in notepad went to the line with the error and removed the data. The file then opened correctly up until the next instance. After sh had fixed the problem on her sipura all was Ok.

At some stage I will parse the data captured from the SPA for invlaid characters

Cheers

I guess my problem is after that, since even I’m selecting to “Keep XML Log of calls….” And selecting the file name as “calls.xml” that file is not created in directory or other place my PC. Son I can’t go any place to delete that line. Did I must selected any field on my Sipura to provided the information?

I really appreciate you help

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.
