Hi Just a simple question. Will the sipura 3000 reset code completely wipe off the info, services etc off it? I have performed the reset on it via IVR but was wondering if that would wipe all its info including dial plans, service registrations etc. Quite a simple question. I would have checked but sold my unit and am now wondering if all my info would still be on it.

As I know there is no posibility to recover password. And yes, if you reset with "****73738" your will lost any configuration and will nedd to start from scratch. What your could do is to save your current configuration to an HTML file; reset your sipura and then repost your saved file. But, before reposting your saved file you will need to edit it and change something. To repost do this: - Edit your saved file. - Look for <form action="asipura.spa" method="POST"> and change it to <form action="http://<sipura IP address>asipura.spa" method="POST">. <sipura IP address> is the current IP address of the sipura where you want to repost the configuration. - Save the file. - Open the file with a browser and click on submit all changes button. Everything will be restored except passwords. Juan C.

Thank you. I wasn't able to invoke the IVR (it was also locked out), so I had to open up the box and reset the only jumper available. That being done I was able to enter the code in the IVR and reconfigure the box. Thanks again.
