Default Sipura 3000 Phone > 3000 FXS > Internet > 3000 FXO

I was able to make this work with both FXO and FXS on my local network but not over the internet. I appear to be getting through my IAD on both ends but the 3K is not responding. Can anyone supply a config that works in the most simple of all situations?

Why don't you explain exactly what you want to do and what have you done (configuration, etc). Then I believe I could help you.

I want to connect a remote analog phone to an analog port on my PBX. I was able to make it work with 2 3K's on my local private network but when i try it over the Internet it doesn't work. I have tried so many things that I am now ready to set the options back to default and start over. The dial string on the Line1 is <:ip of the pstn end>. When i hooked this up locally i was able to get PBX dial tone but now that it is on the remote end i do not get it. there must be a pretty standard config for this function.

Thanks for any help.

phone>3KLine1>Internet>3kPSTN>PBX calling by IP Address.

Pick up phone and get pbx dial tone. call pbx extension, phone rings.

If your IP addresses are not public you will not be able to connect the SPA3000 to the remote one.

That may be the issue. they are private on both ends. is that true even if we open DMZ or map 5060 and 5061 to the private address?

I would recommend you to use FWD (fwdnet.net). Get two account from them and configure an account in each SPA3000. Then call by FWD user number.
