Default Sipura 3000 : Newbie Query

I am new to VOIP and would appreciate any help I can get. I have no landline connectd to the Sipura 3000. Instead I have a local phone number which I would like to receive calls with the Sipura 3000. Can anyone tell me where in the Sipura menu do I specify the land line number to receive calls. Calling out will bevia VoIP providers.

Hi,

You would have to have your VoIP provider handle this for you. They would then direct calls from the incoming number towards your SPA3000.

Stevenutt,

Thanks for your response. I understood from a local dealer that it is possible to get a local number and configure it to receive calls without going through the VoIP service provider.

He said something about entering the phone numebr in the user id field but I am sure how that works.
